Installation Guidelines

To simplify installation, we strongly advise installing the blower before mounting the hood. Skipping this step may result in complications during setup.

Please note: KCA does not offer installation services and is not a licensed contractor. All installation responsibilities lie with the buyer.

Measurement & Sizing

Buyers are responsible for verifying all measurements prior to placing an order. Hoosdsly is not liable for incorrect in-home measurements. If a return is required for reasons other than shipping damage, the buyer must cover both outbound and return shipping costs.

Finishing Instructions

We do not assume responsibility for improper staining or painting techniques. For optimal results, we recommend using a professional-grade spray-on finish, such as pre-catalyzed lacquer from reputable brands like Gemini, Mohawk, ML Campbell, or Acroma Pro.

Important: Use of wiping stains (e.g., Minwax) is discouraged and will void the product warranty. These stains may produce uneven results due to natural wood features like filler, knots, and grain variations—none of which are considered defects.

Before applying any finish to an unfinished hood, we recommend consulting a professional or contacting our team at (470) 359 7591 for guidance.

Return Policy

Returns are considered on a case-by-case basis. Most items may be returned if they are in original condition and packaging, subject to a 25% restocking fee and return freight charges. Custom and made-to-order products are non-returnable and non-cancellable.

Shipping & Delivery

Products over 50 lbs are shipped via common carrier with curbside delivery. Drivers will not bring items inside your home. Upon delivery, inspect the pallet and verify the box count before signing the bill of lading.

If the shipment appears tampered with or damaged, sign the bill of lading as:
“Possible damage, subject to inspection” and note the reason.

Buyers must inspect all items within 5 days of delivery and report concealed damage directly to the carrier. KCA will assist with claims but is not responsible for resolution or replacement.

Delivery Delays

KCA is not liable for delays caused by external factors such as weather, traffic, strikes, or missed scheduling calls with the freight carrier. Claims for delays or damage must be filed with the carrier. We will support you in the process but cannot guarantee outcomes.

Note: Contractor fees resulting from delays, damage, or missed installation schedules are not reimbursed.

Acceptance & Installation

Installation of the product signifies full acceptance. No claims or returns will be honored after partial or full installation unless a warranty issue arises. In rare cases of veneer failure, claims will be reviewed individually.

Local Pickup

Buyers must bring a vehicle large enough to transport the product and are encouraged to bring blankets for protection. KCA staff will deliver the item to your vehicle but will not load it.

Code Compliance

Buyers are responsible for ensuring compliance with local building and inspection codes. We recommend working with a licensed professional.

🎨 Custom Color Match Terms & Conditions

  • Submit your paint sample on a flat, smooth 3x3-inch wood piece.
  • We only match solid paint colors. We cannot match stains, tiles, high-gloss finishes, toe kicks, or multicolor samples.
  • If your sample cannot be matched, we’ll notify you and offer a full refund.
  • Production begins once your sample is received. Lead time is 30–35 business days.
  • Upon request, your original sample can be returned with your product.
  • For touch-up paint, contact us promptly. We retain your custom formula for 4 weeks after delivery.
